Ruled a vamp by the index owner, 31 August 2026: the logo contains a PHOTOGRAPH OF A REAL CAT whose rights the project does not hold. ⚠️ An earlier version of this row called the artwork an original design and filed it with Shiba Inu. That was wrong — the tabby inside the gold C is a photograph, not a drawing, which is exactly what makes this a vamp with a subject rather than a token borrowing a format. SOURCE IMAGE IDENTIFIED 2 September 2026. It is a photograph of a stray tabby kitten taken in on the evening of Sunday 26 July 2026 — eyelids stuck shut with pus, 300g at roughly three weeks old, at an emergency vet that night — published by Atsuko Satō on her own blog on 3 August 2026: https://kabochan.blog.jp/archives/55857704.html, the second image in that post. A press release carrying the same frame names the kitten Rika-chan (Osso Magazine via ACCESS Newswire, 29 July 2026). The logo is that frame, cut out of the car interior, rotated slightly and colour-graded into the gold C; matched on the tilt of the head, the crusted right eye, the folded left ear, the whisker fan and the cream throat. ⚠️ THE CAT IS NOT SATŌ'S. Ruled by the index owner, 2 September 2026: it belongs to a friend of hers, and her part in this is that she posted the pictures. DO NOT WRITE THIS ROW UP AS A SECOND KABOSU. What repeats from the Dogecoin row is the person whose photographs get taken, not the person who owns the animal — and an earlier draft of this row got that wrong. ⚠️ The published sources do not say who owns it, and read the other way at a glance: her blog is a first-hand foster account (the kitten reached her via its finder and a mutual friend, she took it to the vet, and she ends the post hoping to find it a family), and the press release calls it "her newest rescue". Neither states ownership. The index owner's ruling is what this row follows; do not "correct" it back from those sources. ⚠️ Satō has said publicly that she has NO ties to CATE tokens and that an Instagram post of hers was used without permission to imply she was involved, directing readers to her own announcements and to Own The Doge, which manages the Doge IP with her approval (reported by BSCN, 29 July 2026). That objection is about the image and the implied endorsement, so it stands whoever owns the cat — but it is not the cat's owner objecting, and must not be quoted as if it were. The token graduated from pump.fun at 16:32 UTC on 26 July 2026 — the same day the kitten was taken in — and ran about 230x in a day once her post spread. cate.meme disclaims the Dogecoin project and the Dogecoin Foundation and does NOT disclaim Satō, while every line of its copy runs on Kabosu: "the cat sister of Dogecoin", "the dog finally has company". Fair launch, mint revoked, LP burned, ~$45.6M across 118,544 holders. ⚠️ COULD NOT FIND the friend the cat belongs to — no source names them. ⚠️ COULD NOT FIND who pressed the shutter. The frame shows more than one pair of hands and no credit is given on the blog, in the press release or anywhere else; what is established is that Satō published it, not that she took it. So the party whose rights the logo uses is still unnamed on both counts, and `creator` says so rather than defaulting to the best-known name in the story. ⚠️ COULD NOT FIND the project's own account of the image: @cateonsol_ is suspended (checked 2 September 2026), and the only reply traced arguing the image is not hers is from an unrelated trader, not the team. ⚠️ CoinGecko does not list this mint, and its `catecoin` is a different, smaller BSC token — so this row is priced from DexScreener by contract.
